Who are we?
The Movement Dance Studio is a premier dance studio dedicated to inspiring dancers of all ages and levels, from beginner to pre-professional. Our mission is to empower dancers to grow through movement—building confidence, discipline, and creativity while finding joy in dance.

Explore our elite level competitive dance program! **MVMNT Co. is audition only. Auditions are held annually in the Spring.
DRESS CODE
We believe that how you dress impacts how you train. Adhering to our dress code ensures instructors can properly assess lines and technique, while also helping dancers feel confident and professional in class. Dancers are welcome to showcase their personality and style, as long as it reflects a polished, “dress the part” mindset. While we maintain a standard dress code, instructors may make adjustments at their discretion.
What to wear-
Jazz and Contemporary: Form fitting shorts/pants & form fitting top. Any color! *No baggy pants. No t-shirts, no socks. ‘Dance studio’ like pants up to teacher discretion, hair secured away from face
Ballet: Black leotard and pink/skin color for female identifying dancers. Black shirt, and black shorts/pants for male identifying dancers. Dancers 15+ may wear black tights/colored leotards for ballet class, hair in CLEAN ballet bun (using hair tie and bobby pins)
Tap: Any top. No baggy pants. Please make sure ankles can be seen, hair secured away from face
Hip Hop: Baggy shirt and baggy pants/shorts, no fitted clothing (skinny jeans), hair secured away from face
Shoe Requirements:
Ballet: Capezio Hanami split sole in pink or skin tone canvas (shoes may need to be purchased for recital
costume), black for male dancers
Jazz: Balera jazz shoe (Color: please match your skin tone. / Sizing: Same as street shoe size. Half sizes are
available.)
Tap: Tap shoes
Hip Hop: CLEAN street shoes (to be worn in the studio for dance class ONLY)
